Solegear Appoints New CFO to Oversee Company Expansion

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA — Solegear Bioplastics Inc., a leading developer of bioplastic packaging and materials for Fortune 500 brands, today announced the appointment of Dan Holmes to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management, Mr. Holmes brings over 20 years of multinational experience in building and managing finance and operations teams in Fortune 500, mid-tier and early stage companies.

Pieter Dorsman, who served as Interim CFO while the Company sought a full-time candidate, will step back from Solegear’s day-to-day activities. He remains engaged with the Company as a shareholder through E-Fund and Scenario Ventures, and Solegear wishes to sincerely thank Mr. Dorsman for his services during the past nine months.

Dan started his career at Oracle and following business school held senior finance positions at the Walt Disney Company, Candle Corporation, and Ascent Media. Throughout his career, Dan has partnered with senior executives to establish strategic directives and oversee their operational execution.
