See Laguna Tools at AWFS Fair 2013LAS VEGAS - Visitors to the 2013 Association of Woodworking & Furnishing Suppliers (AWFS) Fair will find live demonstrations, sawdust flying and the sounds of blades whirring at booth #7512 where Laguna Tools is promising a “show within a show” as it fires up everything from cutting edge bandsaws to game changing CNC machines, July 24-27 in Las Vegas. “We want visitors to our display to experience our equipment actually working, not just sitting around like shinny new cars in a showroom,” said Catherine Helshoj, Vice President of Laguna Tools – a leading manufacturer, innovator and distributor of woodworking machines. “Typically, we don’t even have to give out our booth number, because people naturally gravitate to the sounds of machines running and wood being cut.”

Laguna Tools will be featuring some of its most popular woodworking lineup at the AWFS Woodworking Fair, including a 14|12 Bandsaw, 4-Axes CNC Machine, two Smartshop CNC models, the CNC IQ HHC and the newly released Laguna Multimaster CNC.

“We feel woodworking professionals will want to check out the Austria-made Multimaster CNC for a number of good reasons,” she said. “This unit features B&R Industry controls and combines precision routing with knife-cutting and creasing capabilities, allowing operators to route, carve and ‘knife cut’ a wide variety of materials on our proven CNC platform at a very affordable price.”

According to Helshoj, all of the machines being displayed at the Laguna Tools Booth (#7512) are available for pre-sale at substantially discounted prices. “Typically, we pre-sell all of the woodworking equipment will be taking to the AWFS Fair, so we encourage our clients, woodworking professionals and avid hobbyists interested in upgrading their shops to call and take advantage of this
special show pricing.”

Helshoj believes that while it would be far easier and less expensive to have a
static booth with no machines running or wood being cut, it would go against the
grain of Laguna Tool’s culture. “The truth is that we’re all woodworking enthusiasts
ourselves, and we love showing off how our equipment can reduce overhead
and increase productivity for any shop – regardless of size. We design every new
Laguna Tool with question in mind: Would we love using this machine? If the
answer is “yes,” then we build it!”

A number of VIP passes to the AWFS Woodworking Fair are being made available
to Laguna Tools customers, but Helshoj advises people to inquire now while a
