TACOMA, WA -- The 2013 International Wood Composites Symposium will be held in Seattle, Washington on April 3-4, 2013. Presented by Washington State University in collaboration with APA, this year’s industry-driven symposium is titled “Market Dynamics, Product Development, Process Innovation” and will address markets, policies, codes, new developments and innovations for the wood composites industry.

More than 30 presenters -- including resource managers, regulators, harvesters, and primary and secondary manufacturers in wood and wood-based composite products industries, as well as other industry leaders -- are scheduled to speak about industry trends, challenges, and opportunities. Featured keynote speakers will include APA President Dennis Hardman, Composite Panel Association President Tom Julia, and Strategic Economic Analysis, LLC President Lynn Michaelis.

The two day event will be held at the Seattle Red Lion on Fifth Avenue. A pre-symposium welcome reception is planned for April 2.
