At the Euroshop show taking place in Düsseldorf between 16 and 20 February 2014, Schattdecor will be launching its second Digital VISIONS collection and also presenting the 67 new decor highlights involved in an attractive new booklet. Taken together with the 80 decors from the first collection, the new additions will enable designers, commercial interior decorators and wood panel and laminate industry customers to choose from almost 150 decor ideas specifically developed for industrial-scale digital printing.
Schattdecor will be showing a selection of the digital-print decors as representative of the whole collection at its 54-square-metre booth (booth 40, hall 10 B), displaying them on large-format panels according to the following five themes:
The digital-print decors in this theme bring natural forms and colours together into a harmonious whole. Whether in fitness lounges or wellness & spa retreats, they will provide an ideal backdrop for relaxing and whiling away the time. The Mountains decor creates a perfect ambience in this respect.
The vibrant decors in this theme promise an upbeat feel for young and old. Experimental designs and textures in strong and refreshing colours characterise NO LIMITS, which is particularly well embodied by the decor Chameleon.
Sombre hues and vivid splashes of colour create a cool and edgy feel in the HAPPY HOUR theme. Experimental designs of this type are very much en vogue in bar and lounge design. Here the decor Reflection sets the tone.
The TIMELESS ELEGANCE theme presents highly individual interpretations of sophisticated design classics. With their modern, understated look, the decors suggest themselves for hotels and public institutions. The Palace decor, for example, offers a harmonious take on a classical design.
The CATWALK theme offers a mix of colourful and natural motifs. The arresting and extravagant decors awaken a zest for life and a hunger for more. The Bonfim decor epitomises this positive mood.
The booth will have the character of the design specialists' creativity workshop in Thansau, and thanks also to modern high-tech info systems and a lounge area for relaxation will thus provide ideal conditions for an intensive interchange of information and experience.
It will also be the perfect setting for presentation of the twelve best results from a student project staged by Schattdecor with the School of Form, a noted higher school of design in Poznań, Poland. In this project various tasks concerned with digital printing were tackled by 36 second-year students. The results put on show at the Euroshop 2014 will also be documented in a brochure.
Schattdecor's showing at the Euroshop will be rounded off with a digital-print furniture foil originally exhibited at the Interzum 2013. As shown by initial orders for several hundred square metres, the decor specialists have scored a particular hit with this product.
At its self-assured showing at the Euroshop 2014, Schattdecor will again be underscoring that it has the resolve and resources to pursue further developments in digital decor printing in an endeavour that is setting standards in and for the branch.
