In this contest, high schools across the United States and Canada were invited to share a video in hopes of winning a new SawStop Industrial Cabinet Saw installation for the school (and one saw for the shop teacher!).

The winners were New Oxford High School in New Oxford, Pennsylvania, and their shop teacher Mr. Andrew Warner.

“On behalf of the school board, district administrators, faculty, staff, students, and most importantly the community of New Oxford Pennsylvania I would like to thank SawStop,” Mr. Warner said. “With the addition of the saws our shops will be much safer and many students will start their futures in woodworking.” Mr. Warner also generously donated his personal prize to the high school, making New Oxford two SawStop saws richer!

This was SawStop’s first-ever contest of this type, and the company was pleased with the results. “We were excited to see the high level of engagement,” commented marketing director Matt Howard. “The videos were very entertaining and educational, and the contest saw over 4,000 votes before a winner was decided.
