SIKO Easy Touch Control Adusts Format From One Source

Automated format adjustment - Nowadays this terms is just as prominent in engineering as PLC and electrical drives. Packaging machinery and wood or paper processing machinery, in particular, continually require format changes to shafts and spindles during production. Machines should be flexible in use and increase productivity through short setup times. This applies not only to new machine concepts, but also for retrofitting existing equipment. Working out, developing and implementing a complete concept in this area usually requires not only a lot of work, but also the necessary expertise.

SIKO Easy Touch Control Adusts Format From One SourceSIKO With the Easy Touch Control ETC5000, SIKO offers a complete format adjustment system from a single source. The intuitive HMI control system of the ETC5000 is suitable for controlling up to 31 bus-compatible SIKO position indicators and actuators. Whether making a monitored format adjustment via digital position indicators or a fully automated format adjustment using actuators, the system gives you the flexibility you need.

The simple and intuitive user interface makes operation as easy as can be. During the development special attention was paid to the easy use and handling of the system. A "plug and play philosophy" is consistently implemented. For the user, this means that all you need to do is: plug in, add the parameters and you're ready to go! The development also focused on the quality and industrial suitability of the system. The ETC5000 can therefore be operated with gloves and features an IP65 or IP66K rating in the stainless steel version.

With the ETC5000, SIKO rounds off its product range of format adjustment systems and provides the user with all the relevant components from a single source: HMI controls, actuators and electronic position indicators. Format adjustments have never been easier or more flexible for machine manufacturers, retrofitters and users.
