Rooms Moscow 2013: The Countdown Has Started

On 21 May 2013 the waiting is finally over and the premiere of Rooms Moscow / MIFS gets underway. The comprehensive interiors fair will be held on an annual basis in May – a perfect time for the companies involved to present their new products to the Russian and Eastern European trade. Many companies – particularly from Germany – have seized the opportunity to use Rooms Moscow as a platform for entering the promising Russian furniture market. A total of 18 German firms, including Nolte Möbel Germersheim, Wössner, WTB Group, Hartmann, die Collection, Blanco and Interprint, have registered for the pavilion sponsored by the BMWi (Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology), where they will be joining forces to represent "Made in Germany".

One area within the German pavilion will be occupied by member companies of the Furniture Club - Made in Germany e.V. The Furniture Club, represented in Moscow by Mr. Andreas Rieß and Ms. Renate von der Eltz, is an association of medium-sized German furniture producers and component suppliers that aims to increase the export activities of the respective companies. The firms represented under the Furniture Club umbrella in Moscow will include SieMatic, bullfrog, CS Schmalmöbel and Febrü.

Other premium spaces in Halls 14 and 15 of the Crocus Exhibition Centre have been reserved for the Italian pavilion with its own lounge, a special event zone and other international enterprises.

To ensure the event attracts the desired level of attention, Koelnmesse / MGK are collaborating with Salon Press in Russia. As general media partner, the furnishing sector's leading media company will be raising awareness of the premiere in various channels.
