Rockler Ladder Makes Best Products List

Rockler Ladder Makes Best Products ListMEDINA, MN - It was announced today that Rockler Woodworking and Hardware won a prestigious Top 100 Best New Home Products of 2011 award from "This Old House" magazine. Rockler's library ladder system was included on a select list of "most unique, helpful, and coolest home products," according to the editors of "This Old House." The library ladder system will appear in the November/December issue of "This Old House" and will also be on the magazine's website beginning Nov. 4.

"The library ladder system deserves this recognition because nothing on the market comes close to its quality or look," said Steve Krohmer, Rockler's vice president of product development. "We've combined a classic design with durable materials to build a system that not only looks great, it's also affordable and easy to maneuver. We are very proud this product was chosen to be included in such a prestigious publication, and one that is very familiar to our customers."

"This isn't just a list of new products, they're products with real value," said Scott Omelianuk, editor of "This Old House." We've worked hard to find things that were truly unique and would make a difference to our readers and their families, either through long term savings or ease of use. We think there's huge value in that." The 2011 list marks the first annual "This Old House Top 100" and includes items for people who love old houses and appreciate new and interesting ways to fix them up.

Included with Rockler's Library Ladder Kit is a complete step-by-step plan that simplifies the building of a 8-, 9-, or 10-foot ladder and system assembly. Once complete, the ladder makes it possible to reach the highest of shelves in a library, closet, garage, or other out-of-reach spaces.
