MEDINA, MN - Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has introduced the Cord and Hose Holder, a corded power tool and dust collection accessory that suspends power cords and dust hoses above the bench and out of the way of the work area. The adjustable post clamps onto workbenches and tables, allowing users to maneuver benchtop power tools such as routers and sanders with greater ease. The Cord and Hose Holder features a clamping mechanism which tightens into place around the edge of the workbench or table, an adjustable adapter to secure the dust hose, and a top cord loop for power cords while allowing them to pass through as needed when the tool is moved around the bench.

"The Cord and Hose Holder eliminates the hassle and annoyance caused by power cords and dust hose constantly hanging down and getting in the way," says Scott Ekman, Vice President of the Marketing Department. "With the cords and hose out of the way, it's much easier to control the tool you're using and focus on the task at hand to do your best work."

The Cord and Hose Holder is fully adjustable and measures 40" at its maximum height. At the base of the stem is a clamp that tightens around any bench or tabletop up to 3-1/2" thick. The included dust hose adapter accepts standard 2-1/4" outside diameter hose on both ends and is secured to the main stem at the desired height with a threaded knob. The top of the stem is curled into a specially designed pigtail-shaped loop which holds power cords up while still allowing free travel in either direction through the loop.

The Cord and Hose Holder (47321) retails for $29.99 and can be purchased at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware stores nationwide, Rockler independent resellers, Rockler.com, or from the Rockler catalog. For store locations or a free catalog, please visit www.rockler.com or call 1-877-ROCKLER.
