SAINT-ANTONIN, QUEBEC- Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED): Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Bernard Valcourt, Minister of Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development, announces that three enterprises from the regional county municipalities (RCMs) of Rivière-du-Loup and Les Basques have been granted financial assistance to improve their productivity.
This support has been awarded in the form of three repayable contributions totalling $784,750 through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.

(formerly Menuiserie Bélisle Inc.) specializes in the manufacture of high-end wood doors and windows. The company, which is located in the municipality of Saint-Jean-de-Dieu in the Les Basques RCM, employs some 30 people. The firm's project consists of implementing a market development strategy in the United States over the next two years. To that end, Bélisle Ancestral Doors & Windows intends to hire a sales representative in the United States, update its brand image, revamp its Website, develop and distribute promotional materials and advertisements and take part in trade shows and commercial fairs.
