Visitors can also explore industry and product trends on their own at the Richelieu workshop workstations.

The new decorative hardware collection 2012

Richelieu will use the IWF to show its new cabinet pulls collection to the North American market. The 2012 edition offers more than 1,000 new models, each of them a beauty to behold, incorporating new materials and finishes in line with the latest industry trends. The 2012 cabinet hardware collection offers appliance pulls, brass ornaments, cremone bolts, hinges, hooks, keyhole plates, keys and mock keys, pivot hinges, recessed pulls, knobs and pulls backplates, split hinges and the new floor registers, switch plates, wire meshes, aluminum profiles and more in a variety of sizes and styles. Richelieu offers more than 7,000 cabinet pulls available for immediate delivery from our distribution centers located throughout North America.

The kitchen reinvented

IWF attendees can peek behind large sliding doors to discover the new Cuisine Innovation, an ideal system for lofts and open spaces. These sliding cabinet doors conceal a practical and ergonomic organizational system of kitchen cabinets that can be electrically or manually raised and lowered — the perfect answer to recent new construction trends and higher ceilings. This kitchen becomes even more functional through the system’s height-adjustable table, offering increased counter space, drawers with an electrical opening system and the latest energy efficient LED lighting.

Multi-functional island

To get the most out of a workspace and the versatility of the kitchen island, Richelieu also offers innovative solutions that make kitchen components more flexible. We have designed an island that can be electrically adjusted with an electric lift, converting it into a workspace for two different activities. One side works as an office desk, providing a spacious, ergonomic work area with an integrated computer. The other side of the island conceals a bar area for entertaining when guests arrive.

The entertainment center revisited

Ideal for open rooms — Richelieu offers solutions for creating a wall unit that conceals the television and other living room peripherals when not in use. An electric lift raises and lowers the television for viewing as needed. What’s more, this wall unit is equipped with two coplanar sliding door systems with soft-close mechanism — perfect for use as a library. Some of our products also easily create a bar area or shelves that can be hidden behind doors that open through the ingenious Pegaso lateral opening system. Inside the unit, we have installed the new Ten slides with soft-close mechanism and translucent panels. The bar is equipped with a sink and faucet and the entire unit is illuminated with new Evoke Tilt and Swivel lights. All these products combine to create a refined look right in style with the latest trends.

LED Lights: performance paired with Italian design

Richelieu is presenting many new lighting products, some of which have won design and innovation prizes. The new sophisticated design series created in Italy features pure, sleek shapes that will refresh the beauty of any piece of furniture, cabinets or closets.
