Grand Rapids, MI - The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has approved the newly revised safety and performance standard for Desk/Table Products: ANSI/BIFMA X5.5-2014.

The BIFMA Desk/Table Subcommittee worked diligently for the past two years to revise the ANSI/BIFMA X5.5 standard with several new test methods including Tilting Tables, Keyboard Tables, Benching Systems, and Monitor Arms. Additionally, there are significant revisions and clarifications to several of the previous test methods.
