A panel of judges awards points for workmanship, imagination, complexity and the overall use of Norwood equipment. Three prizes of $500, $300 and $100 in “Norwood Cash” (merchandise credits) are awarded in each category. Winners can use their prizes towards new sawmill or forestry equipment orders from Norwood.

“We tip our hats to Norwood owners. They are skilled and resourceful people who deserve recognition for their hard work,” continues Dale, “We encourage all Norwood sawmill owners, and soon-to-be Norwood owners, to share photos and videos of their mills and the fine homes and furniture they are able to build with their own lumber. Our annual contest is a great way to show off their work and creativity while having a chance to win and invest further into their mill or sawmilling business.”
