ORGATEC Features Harmonious Integration of Media Technology

Cologne, Germany - Media technology is an essential element of today’s work environment. From video conferences, multimedia systems, large-screen TV presentations, and the wireless transmission of data and information to unified communications and the joint use of centrally stored documents, new communications technologies are greatly simplifying our daily work. However, the media technology also has to be harmoniously integrated into today’s design-oriented office equipment.

ORGATEC 2012 will provide answers to this question and inspire architects, planners, interior designers and users at businesses, who have frequently had to address this issue. That’s because numerous suppliers of media technology solutions, including Bachmann, Belcom, IB Connect, Kindermann, Komtech, Schulte Elektrotechnik and SMART Technologies, will be attending ORGATEC, the leading global trade fair for offices and facilities, in Cologne from 23rd to 27th October 2012. In addition, the Competence Centre Architecture & Media Technology in Hall 10.1 will serve as a central meeting point for all visitors who are seeking inspiring ideas on how to integrate media technology into offices and facilities. The centre is devoted to the integration of media technology, and it will demonstrate how media technology simplifies work and communication when it enters into a symbiotic relationship with furnishings, acoustic systems, lighting and floors. To illustrate this effect, the centre will feature a replica of a conference room in a prestigious law firm. This exhibition will be accompanied by a marketplace at which suppliers of conference and media technology will be able to present their products and services at their own concept stands.

Even for companies with smaller stands, the Competence Centre Architecture & Media Technology will offer an opportunity to present themselves in an attractive and attention-grabbing manner around this centrally located exhibition area at an affordable all-inclusive price. This presentation will be supported by targeted marketing and communication measures from Koelnmesse.

Around 35% of the approximately 61,000 trade visitors who came to ORGATEC 2010 were interested expressly in media and conference technology. They included planners, interior designers, decision-makers from private businesses and public authorities, and commercial resellers from Germany and abroad. Companies that are interested in taking part in the Competence Centre Architecture & Media Technology can also find all of the pertinent information online at www.orgatec.com.
