OFM Wins 2012 American Inhouse Design Awards

Holly Springs, N.C.— OFM, a leading office and school furniture manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler, announced today it is among the winners of the brochure and collateral category for the 2012 American Inhouse Design Awards for both its Elements and 2011 New Product Introductions brochures.

“It’s an honor to be recognized for our in-house design efforts,” said Blake Zalcberg, chief executive officer of OFM. “Our graphics team works hard each day to create solid marketing material for OFM and it’s great to see that their artistic talents aren’t going unnoticed.”

The OFM Elements brochure exemplifies a minimalist design and is imbued with tranquility through its use of black and white photography featuring OFM chairs in color set against a clean, white background.

Its 2011 New Product Introductions brochure features fresh, unexpected photographs of the company’s office and school furniture and uses angular layouts to avoid monotony found in many product catalogs. The distinctive black background used throughout the brochure helps draw attention to new furniture items while also giving it a modern look.

The American Inhouse Design Awards highlights the work of in-house designers providing a one-of-a-kind opportunity for design and marketing departments to showcase their work and be honored for their talent. In addition to OFM, the winners of the brochure and collateral category also included the AARP, the American Bar Association, Office Depot, and Vanguard.

“At OFM, we are constantly working to keep our product line new and fresh and that goes the same for our marketing material,” adds Zalcberg. “Winning two American Inhouse Design awards is a testimony to our talent and creative vision that’s demonstrated not only in our brochures, but throughout our entire business.”
