Portland, Ore. - Contact Industries launched a newly updated website earlier this year, giving a fresh new look as well as added functionality to the company's web presence.
The new website, viewable at www.contactind.com, replaces a seven-year-old site that had been at the same URL.
"Our old site was poorly optimized, the design was out of date and customers had a difficult time finding the information they needed," said Peter McKibbin, Contact VP of Sales and Marketing. "The new site is a much better reflection of our products and capabilties."
In addition to an updated design and more intuitive navigation, including separate menus for each key market that Contact serves, the new website allows architects and specifiers to download CSI-formatted specifications for Contact's veneered products to use in architectural plans and building documents. A new feature, the Veneer Gallery, allows designers to browse dozens of species of veneer to get a better idea how products and interiors might look in different veneers. Users can also easily browse case studies of architectural projects that utilize Contact's veneered mouldings, millwork, ceiling components, door frames and other applications of profile wrapping technology.
"These new features allow our customers and the design community that specifies our products and processes to better understand and utilize our capabilities in their projects," McKibbin said.
