Introduced at Euro Cucine in Milan, Pedini’s new Arts & Crafts kitchen model, is now available in the United States beginning September 2014. As a leader in the innovation of contemporary kitchen design since 1957, Pedini has set the standard for Italian kitchens on an international level. With 20 Italian kitchen showrooms in the United States, Pedini is constantly growing and expanding their original kitchen designs.
Within the last year, kitchen trends have begun to evolve and introduce new design elements. While seamless and elegant designs have remained dominant, a more urban and industrial feel is now being utilized. Kitchens that incorporate iron looks and rustic woods along with the functionality and practicality of a more traditional kitchen are now becoming the forefront of design.
Constantly looking to set and surpass trends, Pedini’s 2014 Arts & Crafts model focuses on rationalism and functionality. Essentially, the goal of this kitchen model is to create minimalist designs that positively impact the lives of Pedini’s customers. Iron looks, solid woods and cement effect resins are utilized to create a chic and rustic feeling. The combination of “urban” pewter finishes and “rustic” weathering steel finishes create this unique model.
Arts & Crafts’ Rustic Charm uses Canaletto walnut wood in a variety of aspects of the kitchen design such as tall cabinet units, floating wall units with grey smoked glass, paneling for cabinets, general shelving and breakfast bars. To create a resistant and reliable working surface, Pedini employs thick weathering steel structure worktops on both the island and on the wall. The Arts & Crafts model also includes vanishing doors to hide the ovens and fridge to give the kitchen a cleaner appearance. These rustic characteristics are just one of the many design aspects that sets Pedini’s new Arts & Crafts design apart from previous models.
Bleached ash wood doors and pewter finishes adds an Urban Chic aspect to the Arts & Crafts model. The worktop and backsplash behind the sink are reinforced with a beautiful “grey porcelain” Laminam, perfectly matching the steel sink and pewter finish steel hood. In addition, a matching steel pewter finish is used for the kitchen’s handles. The Arts & Crafts industrial and urban feel fits perfectly into Pedini NY’s local area. These unique and striking features can help complete any New York home’s kitchen area.
Pedini’s brand new Arts & Crafts model encompasses design flexibility, custom color choices and all of Pedini’s unique design elements. Through their “made to fit” service and endless options, the Arts & Crafts’ combination of urban chic and rustic charm creates a superior custom Italian kitchen option.
