PITTSBURGH – The Southern Cypress Manufacturers Association has published a new case study that details the use of cypress at the new Live Oak Bank headquarters in Wilmington, North Carolina. The 36,000-square-foot building features cypress as exterior siding and soffits, as well as interior ceilings and custom millwork. Click here to download a copy.

Architect Laura Miller, principal at LS3P Architects in Wilmington, said, “Cypress was the perfect solution, not only due to its local availability, but also its natural durability and beautiful aesthetic qualities. Ultimately, we were able to use traditional building materials in a modern way, while optimizing views and daylighting. The result is spectacular.”
