NLRB Decision Requiring Union-Friendly Posters Overturned

RESTON, VA -- The U.S. District Court of Appeals for Washington, D.C. on May 7, 2013, overturned an illegal National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) rule requiring nearly 6 million employers to post notices encouraging union membership.

KCMA, along with many other associations, supported efforts by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) and the Coalition for a Democratic Workplace (CDW) to nullify the ruling.

The decision was hailed as a clear message to NLRB to abide by the law and operate within its legal authority.  An appeal of the decision by the Obama Administration is possible.
