Holsted, Denmark - As of March 1st, 2014, Moldow has set up an American subsidiary to gain footing on the American market and achieve distinction on the other side of the Atlantic. Moldow has already been present in the US for more than 50 years, and more than 200 Moldow installations can be found in North America.

”We’ve previously supplied a lot of components and installations, especially filter systems, to the US through our American distributor and Danish business partners. But we see great potential in the Northern American market, and think it’s the right decision to set up our own company there,” says Managing Director, Preben Hansen.

To run Moldow US LLC, Moldow has hired the American Jim Peters, who will be situated in Kansas City. Jim has worked within this sector for more than 20 years, and the last four he has had his own sales company.

Jim will be responsible for expanding sales and the sales network in the US and Canada, primarily concerning Moldow’s filter products.

”Jim is highly qualified and committed, and we have no doubts that he’s the right man for the job. He is familiar with the products and the business, and we feel very confident with giving him the responsibility,” says Export Manager, Kenneth S. Rasmussen, who is responsible for this initiative.

This initiative is part of Moldow’s 3-year strategic business plan that the company just launched. In regards to the sales side, the plan includes objectives to invest in and focus on expanding sales on new as well as present markets to ensure the future growth of the company.
