Mobile App Features National Office Furniture's Product Portfolio

JASPER, IN -- National Office Furniture, a brand unit of Kimball International, Inc. has launched mobile initiatives making its products and collateral easily accessible on mobile devices, especially on tablets. National becomes the first manufacturer to have its entire portfolio loaded into the mobile edition of The KITS collaborator. Plus, all of National’s collateral including images, price lists, brochures, animations, sustainability information and more are now available on the National Hub.

Developed by Toronto-based software and services company KiSP, Inc., the KITS Mobile app creates photo-realistic renderings in a client’s actual space in a matter of seconds. Simply take a picture of a space, drag desired National products into place, and the app will scale the furniture giving customers a first-hand look at what their new space could look like. The highly intuitive app enables users to select and configure the furniture in the space and also change colors, materials and finishes. User-friendly functionality offers users an easy experience in changing and grouping products allowing for rapid visual space planning and quotation. This new process reduces the time spent going back and forth on a project when sharing electronic ideation and configurations.

Separate from KITS, but an integral part of an overall mobile strategy, National launched the National Hub providing on-the-go access to all its collateral to ensure that dealers, designers and facility managers can easily find the materials they need and navigate them via a couple taps and swipes. This eliminates the need to carry a briefcase full of marketing collateral and a laptop; all you need is a tablet and an internet connection. National rolled out new iPads to its entire selling organization and equipped them with KITS Mobile and the National Hub so they can deliver the extraordinary experience expected from National.
