West Caldwell, N.J. - To help expand its brand presence at national retail and hospitality chains, MaxLite Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Product Thomas Rhee announced the appointment of John Fredian to Vice President of Sales, National Accounts. MaxLite is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of MaxLED, an award-winning line of innovative LED luminaires and lamps using state-of-the-art LED technology. Mr. Fredian will report directly to Mr. Rhee.

“John brings a wealth of valuable sales experience and achievements throughout the lighting industry,” stated Mr. Rhee. “We look forward to helping him work with national accounts in a variety of key segments.”

In his new position, Mr. Fredian will promote the MaxLite product line to national operators of multiple location retailers, hotels, restaurants, building management companies and other chains. In addition, he will oversee MaxLite’s new roadway lighting line.

Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Sales, North America for LED Engin, Inc., a San Jose, California-based manufacturer of LED emitter packages. Mr. Fredian also served as Director of LED Business Development for North America for Philips Lighting where he placed LED fixtures in more than 1,500 Kroger grocery stores. In addition, he was Global/National Accounts Manager for GE Lighting Solutions where he deployed LED signage products at thousands of AT&T and Holiday Inn locations throughout the United States during their re-branding projects.
