SCHAUMBURG, IL — Interactive engagement is the theme of this year’s GlobalShop. Or at least it is for Lamin-Art.

The North American leader in laminate, real wood veneer and metallic surfaces will debut its newest line of exclusive, large-scale embossed surfaces called Metal-Art™ at the GlobalShop tradeshow April 16-18, providing designers with a hands-on experience of their products.

Designers and architects are also invited to mingle with the Lamin-Art team at a kick-off party starting at 3:30 p.m. on April 16. Hans Mutzke, Lamin-Art’s alwaystraveling design director, will be attending, so attendees can gain exclusive insight on inspirations for designs ranging from avant-garde angularity to contemporary translations of ornamental frieze.

Lamin-Art’s theme this year is “Shine On with Metal-Art™“, and what better way to Shine On in style than Oliver Peoples sunglasses? Attendees are invited to enter their business cards in a drawing to win a $500 Oliver Peoples gift certificate.
