Lach Diamond to Showcase CBN Cutting Edge Materials at IMTSGRAND RAPIDS, MI -- When LACH DIAMOND, as the first worldwide manufacturer, introduced CBN tools for the turning of sprayed-on materials at the Hanover Fair/Germany in 1974 no alternative method existed up to that date for the necessary grinding process.

In next to no time hours of grinding time were reduced to minutes of turning time.

LACH DIAMOND CBN cutting tools under the trade name of debroid-B, since its first highlight, have opened up a broad spectrum of all-around application possibilities for the machining of hardened materials such as the turning of high-alloyed steels over 58 HRc and cast iron components also with interrupted cut.

At the International Manufacturing Technology Show, IMTS in Chicago LACH DIAMOND will showcase the entire line of the presently available CBN cutting edge materials, in order to give the user the best possible and most economical solution.

The special tooling of LACH DIAMOND as well as that of manufacturers of CBN/PCD cutting tools and diamond and CBN grinding wheels requires expert consultation in the question of application between grinding and turning for each respective case and how it can be solved most efficiently.

The LACH DIAMOND-Team is looking forward to your visit at the IMTS in Chicago - Sept. 8 to 13, 2014 – Booth # W-2108
