Longview, TX… The Longview Economic Development Corporation (LEDCO) board of directors unanimously voted to provide a $200,000 performance grant to Colony Cabinets, Inc. for their capital investment of $1.3 million in new building and manufacturing equipment and the creation of 15 new full-time jobs at their facility located at 900 Estes Drive. Colony Cabinets was established in 1982 and has grown to become one of the top casework and fixture companies in the United States. The LEDCO board also voted unanimously to provide Genesis Recycling Technology, LLC a $45,000 performance grant for their capital investment of $160,000 in additional improvements to their building located at 5702 Bill Harris Road and the creation of 13 new full-time jobs. Genesis is a new company for Longview and they have already spent well over $400,000 preparing for business here. They plan to be operational this fall and will assist companies in recycling their semi-precious and precious metals.
