KI Lands on InformationWeek's List of Top Technology Innovators

GREEN BAY, WIS. – For the fifth consecutive year, KI was named one of the country’s top innovators in business technology by InformationWeek magazine. The 2012 InformationWeek 500 Report is annual listing of the nation’s most innovative users of business technology. The report examines the best IT and business practices of organizations across core areas of operations, including IT budgets, technology deployment, strategies and staffing.

“We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of technology in manufacturing, and we’re excited to be recognized on this prestigious list in InformationWeek,” said Vicki Leinbach, chief information officer, KI. “KI is fully committed to using the technology department to transform its business and be efficient in all areas of manufacturing.”

This is the fifth year KI applied for this honor. To qualify for the InformationWeek 500 list, a company must demonstrate a pattern of technological, procedural, and organizational innovation. Only organizations with $250 million or more in annual revenue are invited to participate in the study.

InformationWeek identifies and honors the nation's most innovative users of information technology with its annual 500 listing and also tracks the technology, strategies, investments and administrative practices of America’s best-known companies. The InformationWeek 500 rankings are unique among corporate rankings as it spotlights the power of innovation in information technology, rather than simply identifying the biggest IT spenders.
