KBIS 2014: MasterBrand Cabinets Makes Fashionable Splash

LAS VEGAS - MasterBrand Cabinets Inc., the largest cabinet manufacturer in North America, spices up the show floor with a fashionable array of chic new styles and substantive innovations at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS), for the company's first appearance at the show in three years.

Show attendees will have the opportunity to explore the latest cabinet styles and design trends in interior design through full-scale kitchen, bathroom and office vignettes. Featured throughout the vignettes are designs from MasterBrand's family of cabinetry brands — Aristokraft, Decora, Diamond, Homecrest, Kemper, Kitchen Craft, Omega and Schrock. All of the brands are showcased in booth N2641.

"We are thrilled to be back at KBIS this year to announce our exciting 2014 product lineups," said Andy Wells, vice president of product design, MasterBrand Cabinets. "With trend-forward doors and finishes, distinctive grains, alternative construction materials, stylish embellishments and organizational innovations, MasterBrand and our family of brands provide a one-stop-shop for beautiful cabinetry for homeowners, designers and builders alike."

Dramatic Design From Omega

Custom cabinet line, Omega, offers a combination of stunning contemporary styling with the new Tarin door, featuring a horizontal grain and a glamorous gray finish, Pumice. This semi-translucent, spatter gray sets a softly weathered tone that works across a variety of settings. Pair this new style with Omega's new veneer Walnut wood grain that features dramatic horizontal lines to capture the essence of warm contemporary, Asian or even Mid-Century design.

Known for its high-tech innovations, Omega also takes on high design with its new Full Access by Omega program, which offers exquisite furniture-quality designs and 10 percent more interior cabinet space, for more storage, better functionality and one-of-a-kind style.

Organizational Innovation From Diamond

Diamond, known for its line of Logix® organization solutions, expands its selections with innovations you may not think were possible — until now. To accommodate cooks with a technical bent, Diamond's under-cabinet Tablet Holder is a must-have, keeping a tablet handy for recipe searches or dashing off a quick email without leaving the kitchen. The tablet holder folds into an easy reading angle, keeping it away from messy ingredients across the countertop, all while keeping its charge.

When it comes to accessibility, the new Lazy Susan with Pullout makes the most of every nook and cranny while bringing items out toward you, instead of having reach down under to fetch what you need. And if you are tired of reaching up to put away your dishes, life just got easier with the Wall Cabinet with Pull-Down Shelf: this two-tiered shelf brings that wall cabinet down to a more comfortable, convenient countertop level.

Beyond its innovative interior bone structure, Diamond's 2014 product lineup also features a stylish new face with a series of new recessed-panel cabinet doors. Create a transitional, clean design with the Caldera or Hanlon door styles, a Shaker-inspired style with the Leeton door, or a modernized look with the Rothshire or Cullen door.

Daringly Dressy Combinations by Decora

Seeking to switch up and dress up a kitchen? Look no further than Decora's new line of aluminum framed doors from Element® Design. With 50 design choices, seven door profiles, five colors and 20 inserts, the combinations are endless, making kitchens distinctly unique. Taking personalization a step further, another Decora partner, Enkeboll®, presents an expanded embellishment offering.

Whether it's kitchens or baths, Decora makes design easy. To trigger the imagination, Decora has created a basic floor plan in which a variety of architectural elements such as a tank topper, storage tower and vanity platform, as well as floating shelves or mirrors, are placed in the exact same arrangement. Combined with Sherwin-Williams® custom color finish options, you can easily create a look to love.

60 Years of Aristokraft Excellence

Six decades after Aristokraft was founded in Jasper, Ind., it still leads the cabinet industry when it comes to quality and affordability. A stock cabinetry line, Aristokraft features stylish designs that are easy on the pocketbook without sacrificing on organizational solutions. Case in point: for the ultimate in adaptability, the Adaptable Wall Vanity Sink Base allows a standard bath vanity to transform into an ADA-compliant wheelchair access option, with just one simple change.

In the mudroom, make way for space-saving Utility Cabinet, where brooms and mops are kept out of sight. And in the kitchen, Aristokraft finds space where there was none before, thanks to the 6-Inch Wide Base Pullout Cabinet, great for frequently used small items, and the 12-Inch-Deep Open Base Cabinet that transforms an end cabinet into a useful landing place for cookbooks or dishes.
