We're excited to share the news that we're working with the Royal Norwegian Consulate in New York to promote Insidenorway at the ICFF (May 18-21) in Booth 922.

One of the most exciting features is the return of a special prototype exhibit featuring the work of 21 emerging designers. Curated by Paul Makovsky, who traveled around the country to make the final selection, The Essence of Things: New Designs from Norway will present prototypes of home furnishings that reflect the vibrant design scene in Oslo and beyond. One of the prototypes from last year - blankets designed by Snøhetta - is now being produced by Røros Tweed and will officially launch at the show this year. After the ICFF, the exhibit will travel to LA for Dwell on Design.

We know your calendars are filling up quickly but we hope you will join us for an exclusive Media Preview + VIP Cocktail at Snøhetta on Friday, May 17 (6:00-7:00pm) to celebrate the launch of Insidenorway 2013. Join us for cocktails, meet the designers and get a sneak peak of products and prototypes launching at the show. They will also debut the new line of textiles by Snøhetta Design and Røros Tweed. See the attached invite and let us know if you can make it! We will have a shuttle leaving from WantedDesign at 5:45... let us know if you want in!

We are also organizing Novità client tours at the show Saturday-Monday at 3PM starting at the Insidenorway booth (922). We'd be happy to give you a tour of the exhibit and connect you with the designers who are in town for the show! We know some of the designers will be in the booth at 12pm on Saturday for a champagne toast, which you're also welcome to attend.

We're still gathering materials on the exhibit but, in the meantime, visit their tumblr page (http://insidenorway.tumblr.com/designers) and let us know if you'd like any specific interviews or photos!
