IMM Cologne, A Great Experience for Novamobili

Alberto Battistella, Marketing Manager of Novamobili di Battistella Company (Pieve di Soligo, Treviso) commented: “The first weeks after the IMM confirm just how much we got out of Cologne: with its intense and vibrant atmosphere and the opportunity to follow up on the process of internationalisation launched in recent years, which has seen some great results in a lot of countries, especially in Germany”.

More than 120,000 visitors and a particularly strong international presence meant exhibitors got the chance to meet a highly qualified and attentive international demand. As Mr Battistella put it, “… the fair has been picking up momentum over the last few years, gaining interest and credibility and making it a top level event in the calendar for the furnishing and interior design world. We saw for ourselves how many visitors there were, not just from Europe but from all over the world, in particular Asia. For Novamobili, it was definitely an important occasion, allowing us to show off the changes, investment and commitment that we put into our work and our collections every single day. The results are clear to see, and we displayed them in Cologne with an entirely new exhibition philosophy designed to attract and win over international buyers. In fact, the international market is our main target for the future”.

Alberto Battistella concluded that: “We are sure that “Made in Italy” products still have a lot of challenges to face abroad, and that if we want to see turnovers grow, we need to show that we can offer style, design and quality even outside Italy. Our “savoir faire” is not going to be enough on its own: we need to get the attention of an international audience by being in the right places, with strong collections and a consolidated image constructed on a sound knowledge of the characteristics of each market, breathing new life into our tradition”.

Of course, the “Reverse” collection was on show at the Novamobili stand in Pavilion 11.3, offering an example of how different finishes and materials can be combined to create comfortable and enjoyable settings for both day and night-time living areas.
