BAD HONNEF, GERMANY -- The Initiative Furnier + Natur, IFN, e.V. has launched a new website in English. The site Veneer.eu provides expert information on real wood veneer.

“Veneer is one of the finest things that can be made from wood. As a rich and reliable source, the new website gives numerous examples of veneer being used in modern interior design," says IFN Managing Director Dirk-Uwe Klaas. The website in English addresses the general public interested in a fascinating product. Beyond that, it provides valuable information for professionals who work with veneer as their material of choice. Architects and designers report online on their special liking of veneer. A video vividly explains how veneer is produced from round timber to thin cut sheets of fine wood glued to a substrate. Users can click through picture galleries and learn about the best wood species suitable for veneer.
