ICFA Elects 2014 Officers

CHICAGO – The International Casual Furnishings Association elected its 2014 officers and directors today at its Annual Membership Meeting here.

The event was held in the Merchandise Mart during the International Casual Furniture and Accessories Market running through Friday, Sept. 20.

Ward Usmar, TUUCI, Miami, Fla., was elected chairman, and Gary McCray, Laneventure, Conover, N.C., was elected vice chairman.

Elected to one-year terms on the ICFA Executive Committee were retailers Greg Martin, Kolo Collection, Atlanta, Ga.; and Doug Sanicola, Outdoor Elegance, La Verne, Calif.; along with manufacturer Joseph Cilio, Alfresco Home, Pottstown, Pa.

Ten individuals were named to three-year terms on the Board of Directors. They included John Billings, Daylight Home & Patio; Bruce Erickson, Williams All Seasons; Greg Martin, Kolo Collection; Doug Sanicola, Outdoor Elegance; Margaret Chang, Treasure Garden; Joseph Cilio, Alfresco Home; Frank Verna, Tropitone; Harold Hudson, Summer Classics; Ward Usmar, TUUCI; and Brian Echols, Echols Enterprises Inc.

Three were named to one-year terms on the Board, including Susan Kiley of Bay Breeze Patio; Brenda Pereyda, Mallin Casual Furniture; and Natalie Scott, Outdura.

Continuing in Board positions to which they were previously elected are: Marcia Blake, Glen Raven Custom Fabrics; Todd Crandall, Crandall & Associates; Steve Elton, Brown Jordan; Eric Graham, Century Leisure; Cathy Galbreath, ABSCO Fireplace & Patio; Gary McCray, Lane Venture; Rory Rehmert, Pride Family Brands; Debbie Stegman; Patio & Hearth Shoppes, Inc.; and Jan Trinkley, Gensun Casual Living.
