Harden Contract Features Handcrafted Cherry Wood Hudson Seating  McConnellsville, NY – Harden Contract has collaborated with designer Greg Saul of Tolleson Saul Design to develop a new lightly scaled wood guest chair inspired by mid-century modern design. The new Hudson Guest Chair will be showcased at NeoCon in the Harden Showroom, Space 10-164.

The handcrafted cherry arm frames were designed with lower support rails specifically to withstand the rigors of commercial use but it is the unseen internal frames for the seats and backs that really carry the load and allow for the design’s lighter scale and great comfort. Refined and modern design is the new Hudson Chair.

Founded in 1844, Harden Contract, a division of Harden Furniture, Inc., is the contract furniture industry’s largest privately held manufacturer of high-quality solid hardwood office furniture and is in its fifth generation of continuous family ownership and management. This year Harden is celebrating 170 years in business. Harden is certified to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI) forest certification standard, and is a Silver Exemplary Member in the Sustainable Furniture Council® (SFC), earning a reputation for responsible environmental stewardship. Fine detailing, rich hand-rubbed finishes, durability and craftsmanship are all hallmarks that define the Harden brand.
