Happy 60th Anniversary to the Masco Corporation Foundation!

The Masco Corporation Foundation was established in 1952 to support charitable activities and community partnerships that strengthen our corporate objectives. Funded exclusively by Masco Corporation, the Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit that provides important funding to results-oriented, well managed, not-for-profit organizations. Over the years, the Foundation has enhanced the Company’s reputation as a responsible corporate citizen by donating millions of dollars to hundreds of organizations.

While the Foundation supports a variety of charitable organizations, it is known best for its long-term arts legacy in metropolitan Detroit. In harmony with its mission to manufacture high quality, high value building and home improvement products, the Masco Foundation places an emphasis on financial and in-kind product support to not-for-profit organizations that promote decent housing environments for disadvantaged and low-income families. It also supports a number of special cultural, environmental, human service and civic initiatives in Southeast Michigan.

Said Melonie Colaianne, Foundation president, "Through the Company’s generosity and civic-mindedness, the Masco Corporation Foundation is able to embrace our responsibility to the community, and we are confident that our actions are making an important difference."

In recent years, the Foundation has expanded its reach into communities across the country where Masco has business operations. These initiatives have supported the hungry and homeless and, most recently, the Foundation is providing significant funding to organizations supporting our country’s veterans and returning military personnel across the country.
