THUNDER BAY, ONTARIO - On July 26, 2012 Grant Thornton Limited was appointed as the receiver (the “Receiver”) of Global Sticks Inc. (“Global Sticks” or the “Company”). The Company operated a manufacturing facility producing a variety of single use disposable wood products for use in the food/dairy, paint accessories, and craft industries from leased premises located in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada.

We are inviting prospective purchasers of the business of Global Sticks to submit offers for the assets being offered for sale consisting of:

• Manufacturing & office equipment owned by Global Sticks and located at 24 Haniak Road, Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada;

• Finished goods, raw materials inventory and packaging.

We are also inviting auction proposals on both a commission and net minimum guarantee basis.

A deadline of 4:00 pm (EST) on Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 has been established for submission of offers/proposals.

Submissions must include the Receiver’s Form of Offer.

The offers/proposals received will be evaluated on their merits after the submission deadline. The Receiver reserves the right to negotiate the terms of a purchase or auction services agreement with one or more parties whether before or after this deadline. The Receiver is not under any obligation to accept the highest, or any, offer submitted and the Receiver may discontinue the sale process or withdraw the assets from sale at any time, without notice, at its sole discretion.
