Citizens Bank Foundation has provided a $25,000 grant to the Center for the Skilled Workforce Initiative in Wood Products Manufacturing, which will help the industry build the highly skilled workforce necessary to be economically competitive in the global market. The grant will help establish a credentialing and training system for the wood products industry in New Hampshire and Vermont. Support from Citizens Bank Foundation enables the Center to help maintain a vibrant wood manufacturing industry, save and create jobs and increase the quality of those jobs. The Skilled Workforce Initiative is a collaboration with the Woodwork Career Alliance of North America. Aubin Woodworking manufactures architectural millwork, furniture, fixtures, cabinets and desks.
