Festool Launches Video Contest, Offering Free Tools & MerchandiseLebanon, IN — Festool today announced the launch of its 2015 video contest, where one grand prize winner will win $1,000 toward Festool products, and several additional finalists will have the chance to win Festool power tools and other prizes. If that isn’t incentive enough, every person who enters an eligible submission will receive free Festool swag.

“This is the third year for our video contest. Each year, we are thrilled to see the engagement and enthusiasm from the Festool power tool community, and how willing they are to show their expertise and knowledge,” said Michael Williams, VP of Marketing, Festool USA. “In addition to receiving great prizes, some of our previous video contest participants have partnered with us to review tools and create additional videos and content—so there are opportunities that extend beyond the initial submission.”

To enter the contest, visit www.festoolusa.com/video-contest, and follow the instructions to complete the entry form. Submissions must be received no later than March 11, 2015, and must fall into one of the following categories:

· Application

· Share your Shop

· Share a Project

· Shop/Vehicle Organization

How the Contest Works

In addition to the grand prize winner, Festool will select two winners at random to receive $750 toward any Festool product(s) of their choosing. Contest judges will also vote on their favorite videos from all submitted entries, with the winners each receiving a Festool 18-volt cordless drill. All finalists’ videos will then be featured at the Festool Connect 2015 event, March 19, where attendees will vote for the grand prize winner, who will receive $1,000 toward Festool products.

Eligible videos must be based on new, or relatively new content, that has been uploaded to YouTube for the first time no earlier than Oct. 1, 2014.
