PARKERSBURG, W. VA. – Woodcraft Supply, LLC, has announced the selection of Vince Grlovich as new vice president for sales and marketing. Prior to joining Woodcraft, Grlovich was employed by Fein Power Tools, Inc., USA, advancing during his 24-year career to vice president of sales. A German company, Fein is among the leading power tool manufacturers in the world.
“We’re excited to have a seasoned, woodworking industry professional like Vince join our team,” Woodcraft President Jody Garrett said. “Vince is no stranger to Woodcraft. While at Fein he was actively involved with the Woodcraft account, so he is familiar with our industry and our company.”
Woodcraft, 85 years old this year, is the industry leader in providing a wide variety of top quality products, educational opportunities and one-on-one guidance to woodworkers at all skill levels. The Parkersburg, West Virginia-based company sells more than 20,000 products at retail stores in over 70 major metropolitan areas across the U.S., through two million Woodcraft catalogs distributed annually in all 50 states and 117 countries and online at Woodcraft.com. Woodcraft also owns Woodcraft Magazine (100,000+ circulation) and recently acquired Japan Woodworker, which offers 8,000 products via catalog and online at JapanWoodworker.com.
“I look forward to joining the Woodcraft team and to taking on the new challenges,” Grlovich said. “This is an exciting opportunity.” The sales and marketing vice presidency has been vacant since Garrett was named president of Woodcraft on May 1, 2012.
After earning a bachelor of science degree in business administration at Duquesne University in 1989, Grlovich joined Fein as a territory manager, advancing to national product manager, national sales manager, vice president of sales and marketing, and finally to vice president of sales, a position he held from 2010 to 2013. As vice president of sales, Grlovich was an officer of the corporation and reported directly to the Fein chief executive officer in Germany.
During his years at Fein, Grlovich’s responsibilities included developing product and distribution plans for the successful launch of tools and accessories in the North American market, establishing new and profitable distribution channels with major buying groups, retailers, and industrial distribution outlets, overseeing a multi-media marketing budget, managing Sales, Marketing, Planning, Customer Service, Data Management and Repair Departments, and budgeting and forecasting sales profits and losses and anticipated inventory levels.
Grlovich and his wife, Lindy Whyte, are residents of Washington, Pennsylvania, but will be relocating to the Parkersburg area. As owners of Tryumphe Bullmastiffs they have bred, raised, trained, shown and rescued bullmastiffs for the past 20 years. As rescue coordinators and rescue volunteers for the American Bullmastiff Association the couple has rescued, rehabilitated, and rehomed over 50 bullmastiffs. Grlovich has also served as show chairperson and club director of the South Hills Kennel Club since 2006.
