Fabricators Converge for Two Days of Education and Training

CINCINNATI - SigmaTEK Systems, LLC, the world's leading provider of CAD/CAM Nesting and Material Optimization solutions, announces a successful conclusion to this year's edition of the company's annual SigmaTEK Academy event. On May 1-2, 2012 shop-floor fabricators, manufacturers, and managers gathered at SigmaTEK's world headquarters to participate in sessions and workshops on laser, plasma, waterjet, punch, and related cutting applications including Best Practices for Part Nesting, CAD Import, Costing and Quoting, Advanced NC Programming, The Factory of the Future, a State of Manufacturing Update, and more. Sessions were conducted by leading industry experts from Mazak, Omax, ITT Burny, SigmaTEK and others.

SigmaTEK President & CEO Ben TerreBlanche explains:

"At the SigmaTEK Academy some of the latest manufacturing technology is represented. For machine companies it's an opportunity to talk about their latest developments. For attendees this is a very cost-effective opportunity to learn the latest that the industry has to offer while meeting face-to-face with cutting machine and fabrication software experts. For example attendees learn about laser cutting, plasma and waterjet cutting, they learn about punching, and best practices for related fabrication processes. Perhaps the best part is that this all takes place in the span of two short days. We have gotten tremendous feedback from attendees and are already working to make next year's SigmaTEK Academy even bigger and better."

Next year's event, SigmaTEK Academy 2013, is scheduled for May 7-8, 2013 in Cincinnati. For information or early registration contact Robert Farrell at 513-595-2022 or [email protected].
