Ethan Allen Dresses the HGTV Dream Home 2014

DANBURY, Conn. -  For the eighth year running, Ethan Allen will be the primary source of furniture and décor for the HGTV® Dream Home.

The HGTV® Dream Home 2014 is a custom-built, 3,200-square-foot masterpiece of “new mountain” architecture in the community of Schaffer's Mill in Truckee, California, just minutes from spectacular Lake Tahoe.

The process began in June when HGTV® Dream Home interior designer Linda Woodrum spent some quality time at Ethan Allen's Connecticut headquarters choosing the furniture, upholstery, window treatments, and accessories that her team would use to bring the HGTV® Dream Home 2014 to life.

This year’s HGTV® Dream Home, designed by architect David Bourke, combines classic rustic elements with modern, industrial details. It's an eclectic style that's a natural fit for Ethan Allen, the home of The New Eclecticism.

“The New Eclecticism is all about fresh ways to express individual style,” said Ethan Allen CEO Farooq Kathwari. “It is a fashion-driven design approach, where rooms aren't just furnished, they're dressed. We always enjoy the creativity that Linda and her team bring to each HGTV® Dream Home and we are delighted to again be a part of it.”
