Eco Building Products Joins George to Resuce TV SHow

VISTA, Calif. -- Eco Building Products, Inc. (OTCBB: ECOB) announced today that the Company will support NBC's George to the Rescue TV show with Eco Red Shield ™ products for decks, siding and landscaping. President and CEO Steve Conboy have been deemed the expert construction manager for the project. The show is expected to air in fall of 2012.

Back for a third season, NBC's George to the Rescue finds home improvement guru George Oliphant offering help and hope to deserving families while tackling home renovation projects across America. George's most anticipated 'renovation rescue' revolves around a 3-time Purple Heart Marine Veteran in Compton, CA.

Corporal Sherman Watson, husband to Kira, and father to two daughters (Courtney [4] and Karmen [13 months]), enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2002. A very humble and patriotic American, Watson completed the rigors of Corps training and deploying to Iraq a devoted soldier prepared to serve his country.

Assigned to the 3rd Battalion 5th Marines, he was the Vehicle Commander for a Heavy Machine Gun/Anti-Armor Weapons Team- an integral unit for combing enemy territory and keeping ground troops safe. Sustaining a light bullet wound after his first tour, Corporal Watson rehabilitated and returned for a second deployment to be alongside his men in Iraq. Another gunshot wound (this one to shoulder) earned Watson a 2nd Purple Heart, another trip to rehabilitation, and his final opportunity to enlist and re-deploy to Iraq.

It was in his third tour, in 2006, when Corporal Watson's vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb. The blast flipped the vehicle and led to casualties within the unit. The severity of this incident (and an ensuing Traumatic Brain Injury) behooved Sherman to finish his service as an honorably discharged Marine.

After returning to the woman he loves and raising a budding family, one would never guess Sherman Watson was once a man of the battlefield. While his injuries aren't prohibitive as they could have been, daily home improvement tasks (assembling furniture or painting a room) prove difficult, let alone the major undertakings needed in his small home. Splitting time between school, his family and work with "The Veterans Alternative" (his organization that promotes/liaises therapeutic relationships and conversation between veterans about their experiences), Sherman lacks the time, funds, and "knowhow" to accomplish what needs to be done in his home.

With any number of projects to be picked from inside the home, it seems as though the cracked and crumbling back patio is leaving the family especially perplexed. It shifts once anyone steps foot on it, and can absolutely be considered a hazard for his young children. Their backyard, supposedly serving as a retreat in communities like his, is patched with dead grass, dirt, and plant life struggling in the California sun. George wants to give this veteran a break from his service and give the Watson family a beautiful backyard where they can relax and grow together. George and his team will also look to see what they can do to make the home's interior more accommodating.

Leading the charge will be contractor Jim Collins from Precision Home Works and interior designer Christopher Grubb from Arch Interiors.
