Custom Home Furnishing Co. presents Paw ParadeSan Francisco--The Bay Area's San Francisco Design Center provides fine custom home furnishings, fabrics and everything design and art related. Offering the best in interior design for Bay Area residents, anyone can create, refine, or reinvent style. They hosted the first annual Paw Parade at the SFDC Galleria Atrium on Thursday, September 8 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.

"The Paw Parade is a doggie runway fashion show to benefit Canine Companions for Independence (CCI)," said Rhonda Hirata of San Francisco Design Center. "Canine Companions for Independence (CCI) is a non-profit organization that enhances the lives of children and adults with disabilities by providing highly-trained assistance dogs and ongoing support free of charge. Opening doors, picking up dropped items, and offering unconditional love are just a few of the tasks these dogs provide on the path to independence."

More than 30 pups took to the runway in top dog style wearing couture outfits created with exquisite fabric from SFDC's very own fabric showrooms, and designed by San Francisco’s leading designers. There was also a brief live auction with one-of-a-kind doggie experiences and gift items. The San Francisco Design Center urges everyone to be a bold bidder to support CCI.

Celebrity dogs and their celebrity owners were in attendance including Wilkes Bashford.
There will be food provided by Taste Catering and bar offerings with the finest wines and cocktails. It's unlimited and covered by the all-inclusive and affordable ticket price of $100. This event is co-sponsored by The Luxury Marketing Council of San Francisco, 7x7 Magazine and Deborah Mann Productions.

"Paw Parade means a few things: doggie divas, puppy swagger and a mean furry four-legged strut that won't quit. Move over Naomi, these sassy pooches have a supermodel complex that'll make you want to hang up your stilettos for good. Catwalk? More like dogtrot," Hirata added.
