Based in St. Louis, MO, Creative Designs by Logan is owned by Dan Claypool. After a successful career in corporate America and with aspirations of becoming an entrepreneur, Claypool, 44, decided to start Creative Designs by Logan, a consumer furniture line named in honor of his grandparents who shared his passion for hunting and the great outdoors. Prior to starting the company, Claypool was Vice-President of Supply Chain at Furniture Brands International, St. Louis, MO; Director of Business Operations, Sales and Trade Marketing at Whirlpool Corporation, Benton Harbor, MI ; and Director of Sales Planning at Maytag Corporation, Newton, IA. Claypool, who was raised on the family farm in Iowa, has a BBA in finance from the University of Iowa. A true family man and hunting enthusiast, Claypool is married to wife Mindy and has three daughters.
