Menck Fenster Comprehensive Site Expansion in Wittenförden

Menck Fenster GmbH starts in 2012 with a comprehensive investment project at the production site Wittenförden. In addition to a new production hall by a total of 1.300m², a new, highly modern wood processing center and several new production lines will be installed in the next few months.

On the occasion of this investment, the Minister of Economic Affairs, Construction and Tourism of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Harry Glawe, attended Menck Fenster GmbH in Wittenförden.

78 jobs have been created in recent years. Two new jobs will be created with the investment carried out now. The total investment for the project is around € 3.85 million. The Ministry of Economy supports the extension of funds from the Joint Task "Improvement of Regional Economic Structure" (GRW) and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with around 823 000 €.

"This is a modern medium-sized window construction company. The company has developed into a major employer in the region. The planned investments speak for the site in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern ", said Minister of Economy, construction and tourism Harry Glawe.

This week the construction works begin on the new production hall. Upon completion in spring, the new production lines set up and the installation of the new wood processing center starts - the whole investment project will be carried out in the next two years and will be completed end of 2013.
