CARSON CITY, NV – Cheetah Learning today announces that the Project Management Institute (PMI), the world’s largest project management member association, has re-named it as a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) effective Nov. 5, 2013. R.E.P.s are organizations that have been approved by PMI to help project managers achieve and maintain the Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Program Management Professional (PgMP)® and other PMI professional credentials. These organizations have met PMI’s rigorous quality criteria for course content, instructor qualification and instructional design. To ensure the continuing quality of the R.E.P. program, PMI reviews selected courses from R.E.P.s every three years.

Project managers are increasingly turning to R.E.P.s for certification training and maintenance, especially since median salaries for the profession now exceed $100,000 (USD). Cheetah offers both courses to prepare for PMI exams (PMP®, CAPM®, PMI-ACP® and PMI-RMP®) and PDU-granting courses for project managers to maintain their certification. Cheetah’s unique approach integrates whole-body learning, which engages not just students’ minds but also their physical well-being. By taking into account the range of factors that affect learning, Cheetah prepares its students to maximize their strengths in their careers and beyond.

Cheetah Learning’s CEO, Michelle LaBrosse, knows that the PMI-REP® status carries the responsibility of fostering the growth of project managers beyond earning their PMP® credential. “We as a company create new Project Management courses weekly as we get feedback from 50,000 Cheetah alumni and potential students on what they want to learn in their continuing Project Management education courses," says LaBrosse. "We designed our online accelerated learning format, which we call levels of learning, so our students quickly gain mastery in crucial skills to help them move to the top fast in their careers. This is what has enabled us to be the consistent leader for Project Management education for the past thirteen years and sets us apart from other PMI-REPs. Over 85% of Cheetah’s business is from word of mouth referrals from our students who find themselves rising much faster in their careers after taking a Cheetah course.”

Cheetah Learning shares this R.E.P. status with more than 1,500 organizations in more than 80 countries. These organizations include commercial training providers, academic institutions and corporate training departments within corporations and government agencies.
