With a degree in International Relations from Kansas State University, Coomes began his career in China blending his fluency in Mandarin with his business acumen to develop several startups. After numerous successes, Coomes joined the Phoria Energy Solutions team, where he worked in tandem with their Chinese partner AnsenBeyond, a leading Chinese export company. After leaving China, Coomes joined a US-based online international logistics company to scale its sales and operations. When the opportunity to join the CarrierDirect team became available, Coomes knew it would be a perfect fit.

Through his new role as Director of International, he’ll be managing existing clients as well as bringing on new companies to the ever-expanding CarrierDirect network.
