Cambria Undergoing Unprecedented Expansion

Le Sueur, Minn. – Cambria, the only family-owned, American made producer of natural quartz surfaces, today announced an unprecedented expansion of its Le Sueur, MN production plant. The expansion will more than double the size and production capacity of Cambria and accommodate popular worldwide demand for its designs. When complete in the spring of 2013, the expanded Cambria plant will total 750,000 square feet and employ an additional 220 employees.

Combined with new technology, this expansion will accelerate Cambria’s continued development of the world’s best and largest design palette. Leading the industry in design innovation, Cambria captures the depth and beauty of marble and granite while offering the superior strength and performance of quartz.

“This is Cambria’s second plant expansion in six years.” said Marty Davis, Cambria’s President and CEO “We are fortunate to have a product that consumers desire and this expansion demonstrates our long-term commitment to creating unique designs and establishing a strong quality supply channel for our valued partners.”

According to The Freedonia Group, an independent company researching the home improvement category, quartz products will continue to grow at more than twice the rate of all other stone surfaces. Cambria’s expansion will allow the company to continue its aggressive growth strategy, meet increasing consumer demands and continue to broaden its worldwide offering.
