CHICAGO, IL -- The Cabinet Makers Association (CMA) and sponsors Hafele America Co. and CompX Timberline will host the Chicago Regional Event on Friday, Nov.18, 2011. This half day event is part of the CMA's own Professional Certification Program. The event will be held at the Hafele showroom near the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

On hand will be CMA Speakers Bureau veteran member and Executive Director Dave Grulke from CMA headquarters in Milwaukee, WI.  With the CMA's announcement this summer of its brand new Professional Certification Program, Dave will present an informative talk with a Q&A session about how shop owners and senior managers can benefit from enrolling in the program.

In addition, CMA sponsors will provide informative, educational formal presentations. Ty LeFever will present a talk about some of Hafele’s newest products, including their new LED lighting solutions.  Gregg Walla of CompX Timberline will also be on hand. He will be discussing Adding Keyless Locking to Cabinets using StealthLock.  Learn why you need locks, why keyless locking can be an advantage, what StealthLock is and how it works, different modes of StealthLock operation, why StealthLock is easy to install and how to buy StealthLock.

Dave Grulke of the CMA will present a fully accredited CMA CEU session entitled How to Make Dollars and Sense from your Advertising Expenses.  This seminar covers nearly every type of traditional print and broadcast media, how to buy it, how to evaluate it and gives attendees the tools to know exactly what works best for them.  Ample time for discussion and questions will follow each presentation. Plus there will drawings for door prizes and other give-aways throughout the day.
