Bona US Announces Departure of Managing Director

AURORA, CO  --  Bona US, the world leader in hardwood floor care and maintenance since 1919, announced today that managing director, John Rauvola, has decided to leave the organization. Rauvola has accepted a position with an athletic footwear/insole company and will be moving back to Seattle, Washington to be closer to family.

Rauvola joined Bona in 2007 from Pearl Izumi/Nautilus, a fitness equipment and apparel manufacturer in Broomfield, Colorado. Previously, he spent 15 years with K2 Corporation in Seattle, Washington.

Bona will temporarily be led by the company’s Executive Management Team for Division North America which is comprised of Kirk Roberts, senior vice president of sales for EMEA & APAC; Björn Saalbach, senior vice president of product management and marketing; Brad Stone, chief financial officer and Erin Wright, vice president of human resources. The Executive Management Team is tasked with business decisions, overall company direction, strategic objectives, and priorities for the company.
