The judges included Rita St. Clair, FASID of Rita St. Clair Associates, Marietta Ries – Senior Designer at Alexander Blank Fabrics, and Laura Renshaw of the Baltimore Sun Media Group.
According to the judges, the selected winners received recognition due to elements such as fluid lines and attention to detail as well as function, application and interpretation of furniture styles. In regards to the selection of The Natural Woodworking Company as the recipient of The Marc Harrison Award for Marketing Excellence, the judges agreed that Swede McBroom’s booth offered a pleasing layout that displayed his entire portfolio. They liked the integration of the signage within the booth as well as the incredible doors on display.
