Roseburg Announces Changes to Composite Group Team

SIMSBORO, LA -- Grady Mulbery, Roseburg’s vice-president of manufacturing, announced today that Mark Avery has been promoted to the position of Director of Composite Manufacturing for the company. Avery joined Roseburg in 2012 as the manager of their newly acquired Simsboro, LA facility. In Avery’s new assignment he will oversee all of Roseburg’s Particleboard and Thermally-Fused Laminating Facilities which include operations located in Dillard, OR, Missoula, MT, Simsboro, LA, Oxford and Taylorsville, MS.

Additionally, Mulbery announced that Joe Heard will be joining the Roseburg team as plant manager of Roseburg’s particleboard and laminating facility in Simsboro, LA. Mulbery went on to say: “We are excited to have Joe on the team. His operating acumen and breadth of experience will be a great asset to the company as we continue to address the challenges presented by the evolving landscape of this industry.”

Roseburg Forest Products is a closely-held manufacturer of lumber, particleboard, softwood and hardwood plywood, engineered wood products and specialty panels. The company owns land and facilities in the Northwest and Southern regions of the United States.
